Geotechnical Project Manager
Location: Barcelona, Spain, with travel for site campaigns in Spain and internationally.
Position Type: Full-time
About the Role: We are looking for a civil engineer, geologist, or related technical professional to support the planning, coordination, and delivery of field operations and wider project work. The position is suited to someone who can combine practical site experience with technical review and project coordination across infrastructure, energy, industrial, logistics, and urban development projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, coordinate, and supervise site investigation and field testing campaigns from preparation through completion.
Organise field teams, subcontractors, equipment, access, logistics, and site documentation.
Support logging, sampling, in-situ testing, field records, and quality control of site information.
Coordinate laboratory testing schedules and follow up on sample handling, test progress, and data delivery.
Review and process field investigation and laboratory testing data to support technical interpretation and project reporting.
Contribute to engineering assessments, including ground models, geotechnical interpretation, seismic or geophysical data review, and practical design-support outputs where relevant.
Support client communication, subcontractor coordination, technical reporting, and overall project delivery.
What We Look For:
A degree in civil engineering, geology, or a closely related technical discipline.
Experience or strong interest in ground investigation, field testing, site supervision, or fieldwork coordination.
Fluency in Spanish and professional working proficiency in Catalan and English. Other languages are a plus.
A practical understanding of site logistics, health and safety, field records, and data quality.
Good organisational skills and a proactive approach to solving site and coordination issues.

Hydrology and Hydraulics Specialist
Location: Remote, with occasional project or team meetings as required

About the Role: We are looking for a civil engineer or related technical professional to support hydrological assessment, hydraulic analysis, drainage design, and water-related project delivery. The position is suited to someone who can connect hydrological and hydraulic analysis with practical engineering decisions for infrastructure, energy, industrial, logistics, and urban development projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out hydrological and hydraulic assessments to understand rainfall, runoff, surface water flow, flood risk, and drainage constraints.
Develop and review hydraulic models, including 1D and 2D assessments for flow behaviour, flood extents, velocities, water depths, and drainage performance.
Support drainage design from early concept through to detailed design, including channels, swales, ditches, culverts, crossings, outlets, attenuation areas, and erosion-control measures.
Review terrain data, survey information, ground conditions, site observations, and proposed layouts to identify water-related risks and practical design constraints.
Work with fieldworks, surveying, and design teams so that hydrology, drainage, and surface water considerations are properly reflected in project outputs.
Prepare clear calculations, drawings, technical notes, drainage summaries, and hydrological and hydraulic assessment reports.
What We Look For:
A degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Hydrology, or a closely related technical discipline with a strong focus on hydraulics.
Proven experience in hydrological analysis and 1D/2D hydraulic modeling workflows (using industry-standard tools such as HEC-RAS, Iber, or equivalent).
Experience or strong familiarity with civil drainage design and detailing, translating hydraulic calculations into physical layout dimensions.
Familiarity with local and European water regulatory framework procedures and permitting requirements.
Fluency in Spanish and professional working proficiency in English. Knowledge of Catalan, as well as other European languages, is a strong plus.
